Friendly Farms Bed & Breakfast is located
adjacent to the fields of Ramey Riding
Stables on Highway #45 three miles west of Rockport, IN and one
mile east of Highway #2155 formerly #231. It is 10 minutes north of
Owensboro, Ky, and 35 minutes east of Evansville, In.
Friendly Farms Trails and Bed & Breakfast has 2 sites, the lodge
and condo cottage. The Lodge and Condo-Cottage are located adjacent to
the fields of Ramey Riding Stables.
2/2 Package
This package includes: 2 overnight accommodations for 2 persons,
breakfast, and a choice of 2 hours of riding instruction (and trail) or
2 hours of tennis instruction. The cost of the 2/2 package is $250 and
is available in the off season.
Ms. Ramey, Innkeeper for Friendly Farms B&B , is a USPTA Master
Tennis Professional and CHA Certificated Riding Instructor.
The Lodge
The air-conditioned and fully heated Lodge is 0.3 miles South of
Highway #45 on S200W and it is a newly constructed manor with a
wood-burning fireplace to cheer guests in the colder months. The
two-bedroom suite has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double
bed and two bunk beds. The suite has a private bathroom and dressing
area, a TV and VCR, a small workout area, and a private lounge. Outside
is a private patio overlooking the woods and a pond. Guests may take a
nature walk through the woods on riding trails One bedroom has an
antique feel and furnishings and the other a bunk bed with TV (see
pictures on the right).
Guests may choose a full or continental breakfast and have access to
the refrigerator and washer/dryer. The big front porch has rockers and a
swing to view the lake and watch the horses graze in the fields and
watch the sun raise on the east horizon.
Lodge Charges:
- 1 or 2 persons - $75/night downstairs plus $15 for each
additional person (maximum 6)
- There are reduced rates for 3-night or weekly stay
The Condo-Cottage
A condo cottage, originally a log cabin, is a fully
decorated and carpeted three-bedroom getaway. It is located on the
corner of Indiana Highway #45 and S200W, 1 mile east of State Route
161 of Highway 45 (formerly 231). Perched on the hill, there is a
lovely view of the countryside and horses to feed over the bordering
fence. One bedroom has an antique double bed, the second side-by-side
twin beds, and the third iron bunk beds. There is only one bath and
guests have total access to and complete privacy in the cottage.
Complete with full kitchen, the condo-cottage has a sit down
shower, tub/shower, washer and dryer, TV and VCR, and patio w/gas
grill. Breakfast fixin's are in the refrigerator. Guest must make
reservations and place their Breakfast order prior to arrival.

- $85/night - 1 or 2 persons; $15 extra for each additional
person
