Ramey Tennis School has been raising the game levels of players for 44 years. Our private camp offers expert professional instruction for beginners through advanced tournament players.

Swing into a fun-filled two or three day tennis weekend. The Hampton Inn is located just ten minutes away. You'll have great food, fun and fellowship. You must be an energetic survivor to follow the tennis schedule and then want to dance 'til midnight-or later. But it's possible, and each weekend some of our campers prove it can be done! Ramey Tennis Schools offers an intensive tennis program which allows time for reinforcement of newly learned skills so it's beneficial and fun for an enthusiastic player, coach or eager beginner. Substantial progress can be made in your overall game with advancement to a higher level of play after disciplined practice. In addition to lessons, playing drills, video tapes, ball machine practice and video evaluation, there is time for competitive match play. Practice and playing time are unlimited, but you can make choices regarding the number of hours you play. Players are grouped according to their level of ability, with one instructor for each four campers.

Special attention is given to refining biomechanical movements which enhance your natural abilities and enables rapid advancement. A 4 to 1 camper to staff ratio is maintained, and instruction is directed by USPTA Master Professional Joan G. Ramey.

Ramey Sports Center in Owensboro, KY is the headquarters for Ramey Tennis Schools and is located amid farms and orchards in a country setting on Highway 56 just 3 miles west of Owensboro, Kentucky. There are three indoor and three outdoor courts, three racquetball courts, and a Nautilus fitness room. The clubhouse has locker rooms, TV, lounge with fireplace, sauna and dining facilities. "Meals are served in the clubhouse.  A table blessing is offered at each meal but participation is voluntary."

Two Day Program
$450 per person double occupancy Hampton Inn,
$525 single occupancy.

Friday On-court hours include: 2:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M.. Meals: dinner.
Saturday On-court hours 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., 2:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M.. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sunday On-court hours include:9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.. Meals: breakfast and lunch.

Three Day Program
$570 per person double occupancy Hampton Inn , $655 single occupancy.  
This includes overnight stay on Thursday.

Friday On-court hours include: 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., 2:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M.. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Saturday On-court hours 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., 2:00-5:00 P.M. and 7:00-9:00 P.M..Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sunday On-court hours include: 9:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.. Meals: breakfast and lunch

All prices include a room at the Hampton Inn (5 minutes away), meals at the club and group instruction. Deduct $25/day from double rates if you make your own housing arrangements. A $50 registration fee is non-refundable, but may be applied toward another person or used within one year.

Five Day Program
$955 per person double occupancy Hampton Inn , $1200 single occupancy.  
This includes overnight stay on Tuesday.

Begins Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. and concludes after lunch on Sunday.

Customize Your Tennis Experience
Small groups or individuals may schedule lessons and sessions at Ramey Tennis School in Owensboro, KY.  Rates will depend on the hours of instruction, practice, and playing time.

You may schedule time with the horses before or after your tennis session and should do so in advance to insure a preferred time.  Please contract our offices at Ramey Tennis School to make arrangements.

Accommodations
Lodging at the Hampton Inn located 10 minutes from Ramey Sports Center is part of the package price. Alternative lodging at the same price is available at the lodge located on the premises of Ramey Riding Stables, except singles pay double room rate.  The lodge is located 20 minutes from tennis center and is available on a first-come basis.

Transportation
American, American Connection, Delta, Northwest and US Airways flights arriving in Evansville, Indiana are about a 1 hour drive from the camp. There is a $45 one way pick-up and/or departure fee.

Driving directions will be included in the packet sent to campers who register, along with a list of recommended exercises and a questionnaire about food preferences.

Ramey Tennis Schools is located in Owensboro, KY and is an easy drive from a six state area, with access from Interstates 64 and 65.
