Ramey Riding Stables is nestled among the hills and valleys of
Southern Indiana farmland. Just minutes from Owensboro, Kentucky, the stables are on
48 acres and includes a 24-stall barn, indoor and outdoor dressage arenas, a jumping arena, and wooded trails.
Our riding camps, Ramey Equestrian School, offer instruction from CHA certified instructors to beginners and advanced riders, both young and old.
One hour lessons cost $35 each or you can purchase four 1-hour lessons for
$110. Lessons are scheduled by appointment.
Half-day trail rides along the scenic Ohio River are available to experienced riders.
One and two-hour trail rides, which include a riding lesson are available to beginning riders.

Fees:
1 person/1 horse/1 hour - $35 (need additional 1/2 hr. to help groom & saddle)
1 person/1 horse/2 hours $50
Child under 6 - lead line in round pen - 1/2 hr. $15
Lessons - 1 lesson $35; series of 4 $120
1/2 day trail ride - $75 (includes sack lunch)
Rules:
Must wear shoes with heels and long pants, sign a
release form, and wear a helmet. If the rider does not own a helmet,
the stable will provide one.
Birthday Parties Held in the indoor arena, two hours may be scheduled for a
child's birthday party. One hour is for the guests to be riding and the
other hour is for games, refreshments and presents opening supervised by the
parents. The horses are led around the indoor arena with the children mounted.
Only children may ride (small saddles are used) and a maximum of 4 children per
horse with only one child riding one horse at any one time.
The parents set up picnic tables and chairs the stable provides in the center of
the indoor arena. Refreshments are served indoors unless the weather is lovely
and the host prefers to serve refreshments and open presents at the outdoor
picnic tables. Cost is $35.00 per horse
with a minimum of three horses. A maximum of four children per horse is
